Book Scavenger Hunt 2019-05-13
How can it be better? I asked myself every single time I write my newsletter. Do you have any suggestions that I can do to make this more valuable for you? For some strange reasons, those other authors' I have visited have not done anything different except, they do not do book scavenger hunt and except that they offer some kind of gifts that's monetary in nature which I am very hesitant to join the crowd because then it feels too commercial. I am doing this for romance lovers.
Have you seen any authors using some kind of unlocking mechanism on social media to promote their books? I haven't, but I may consider putting out stories in this fashion. That is, the continuation of the story will depends on "unlock" factors. The factors maybe # of readers, # of likes, # of shares... More readers reading, the more content will be released. What do you think? Will this work? I do not know. Thinking about something fun that I can do to differentiate myself from others, always.
As usual, I try my best to showcase some of the best stories I can find. Let's start with Twisted Love by Brenda Ford:
Affairs, cougars, scandals… the Smith brothers have it all.
None of them have a straight forward love life…even the ones that think they do.
However, Brad’s 35th birthday sparks a change for all of them.
Unraveling everything that they thought they knew.
Angelo wants his brother to find love, ignoring his own issues.
Alex is addicted to the girl he can’t have.
Oliver is hopelessly in love with the girl next door, while Nelson eyes her mother.
And Wesley… well, his mess is a permanent one.
There’s no escaping now!
All it took was one look, one kiss.
The promises he made—I should have known better. He was a rock star and I had no time for a guy like him in my life.
I fell anyway.
I believed his promises. Held onto them and waited.
But the thing about rockers is that their private lives are never truly private. Seeing him on the cover of a national tabloid shouldn’t have surprised me.
Seeing him with two women all over him?
That nearly broke me.
Now the memory of that first magical kiss was TAINTED.
