Book Scavenger Hunt 2019-08-26
This weekend a good author friend was banned by Amazon not sure for what reasons, but I guess she maybe made too much with them... but it is kind of scary that so many authors now depends their life on Amazon. Maybe there should be a competitor coming to balance the publishing landscape? Anyway, in the upcoming weeks, I will be doing some house cleaning ... refreshing some of the cover not selling... and correcting some mistakes in manuscripts. Flushing out new books quickly as they are now jamming my production pipeline...
Anyway, school is about to start soon so hopefully I will still have more time then.
Let's start with what we care the most, new adult romance ^_^
Liza Sanderson is in her thirties, successful and independent. Her position as a state Senator’s aide has earned her power and respect. Elections are coming up and she’d do anything she could to get the Senator re-elected. Everything is going great for her until the day, a mysterious guy in a leather jacket and tight jeans walks into the office.
Even though her first impression of him is that of a sexist and an arrogant person, she is still drawn to him. There is a dangerous energy about him. She wants to dislike him but at the same time, she wants him to ravage her body. Things get complicated when she learns that this man is very close to the Senator. She has to keep her head in the game. This is not the time for romance or anything else. The more she tries to stay away from this bad boy, the more she ends up coming into close contact with him.
He was broken.
Full of hate and sorrow.
Asher Beaumont never asked for much in life. All he wanted was to play his guitar, write music, and be recognized and loved by his father. Unfortunately, that last desire was never realized. The bastard died when Asher was just a kid. Then thirteen years later, his mother dies of a brain tumor, shattering him even more and leaving him hating everyone around him, except for his two best friends, Melody Stevens and her brother, Teddy.
Melody Stevens has crushed on her best friend, Asher Beaumont her entire life. But it’s always been a secret passion. Never something she’d act upon. But when she tells Asher she’s prepared—and determined—to lose her virginity to a guy he considers to be nothing more than a cad who sleeps with anything that wears a skirt, her best friend offers her a proposition she can’t really refuse.
When Asher stumbles across a letter left by his mother before her death, begging him to seek out his half-brothers, he and Melody begin a journey of discovery. Their travels lead them to the two brothers he has spent his life despising because they had the life he always wanted. While on their trip, they discover a miracle they never, ever considered.
